Sorry Mate- got suckered into volunteering as a SAG rider for a bicycle marathon thingy. Way to slow on twisty roads to be considered any kind of fun. But good to be of service. Will make a point to get up there again if you want. How far did you get?

Cheers

Hiked in on foot. Saw perry's get off spot had a good ole time walking back upbill on foot.

Favorite moment: when byron noticed I was wearing work/hiking boots not MC boots. Priceless.

Found the DR to be a great trail maint. Machine, gonna have to build me a chainsaw rack and use that as an excuse to get up the hill earlier next spring to help clear the trails.

Out - getting sick feels like, not that I could anyhow. Two weekends in a row is a no no.

We need one more day in the week that the wife and kids dont know about...

Mansday... Is that asking too much?

Laugh Mansday

I like that. You could run for office on that platform. It's a day when men do manly things, an extra day in the week. Hey, you got a new seat cover. What, no pillowcase?

Ha... Ya figured the pillow case would leave me with soggy arse in the winter months... The saddlemans gave up in the sun and the gel melted to pieces, had to repack it with art store foam, not nearly as comfortable.

About to hit 17xxx miles on it though still running like a top. Next year this time I figure I'll have to decide if I wanna rebuilt it and add some goodies (big valve head, stage 1 cam, no high compression piston, but maybe something closer to the 9.5:1 suzuki claims) or buy a new to me one with low miles on it - swap all the best bits onto the machine of my choosing and sell the lesser. Or if I get a raise and pay off my truck by fall - sell it and make the leap to another longer range machine. Option three not likely to happen - but one can dream :)

The front feels.dead.on for.me. rear... I think it would take more than a spring, but regardless its not a dirt bike - I have one of them already :p

The carb does damn good. Throttle is perfect for me grinding out the header weld and drilling the slide made it responsive ... Not gonna mess with that cause its working beautifully.
