Well it's not a legit ride report but it is good to know for those interested. The Saint Johns river from Woodlake to Visalia has a lot of stagnant water still in it :(
After Ivanhoe you can almost get to hwy 99 with just a few pissed off home owners:0

Scat sighting

Bumped into Potential Scat and his lovely lady at friend's birthday party yesterday. I was singing karaoke. I'll let Scat tell you how bad it was.

Actually Tom, you sing damn good. It was really nice to meet you and your wife.

Still chuckling over how you told me your dirt exploits and walked away and it took me 15 minutes to connect the dots.

950/990 or DR650?

That's a no brainer, KTM of course! He's no dummy....

Personally I'd get the Super Enduro over the Adventure though.

Big KTMs

They are nice on the pavement and fire roads. However, they are a real handful in the tight twisty stuff, even worse than the DR, I think. And if you think lifting the DR is tough, don't even think about lifting one of those big KTMs by yourself...I think Monti will be taking his" little" (525 is little?) KTM in the dirt...

I am in for reals this time That sounds like a fun ride. Just replaced the shaft seal in the rear shock of the old XR Put it back to gather and adjusted the pre-load this weekend. What a difference new oil and a proper charge makes. New fender and tail lights, even washed the thing.

Hells yes, it should be a beautiful day to ride So nice when everything is still green...instead of that dreadful brown scorched earth look of late spring & summer around here.

Yes, that is the reason you NEED two bikes...
Or three.
If you settle for ONLY one bike, the DR is a good choice.

If I get my swingarm back by then, I'm in.

I know I know it's not bike related...

Rob, Chip, K, dogs, and myself along with one of Rob's friends (Tim?) went up to Bald Mountain on Patty's Day for a BBQ. Long story short we ran out of steam NEAR the top of the lookout and we all got stuck at lease once, twice, perhaps even 3 times which required a shovel and tow strap:

Powerbanks: I'll elaborate: Monti does more maintenance on the 525 than riding. On that aspect alone I'd sell that before the DR. If I were going big KTM I'd get the Super Enduro as well over the Adventure if and only if service was rated in miles instead of hours! Ps: Andrew how is everything going?

I might upload another video. As a bump... Perhaps.
