Home, and Egg-fuggin-sauceded.

I should always do this... Buy new bike and ride the piss out of it right away. Think I have a good idea what needs
Tinkering.

I need to try out the new double take mirror set up I ordered and installed since my last ride. I was getting sick and tired of the factory mirrors. It sounds like Isellers has some double takes to try out as well.

Hope to see you there, just dont stop for suspicious objects on the roadway and you'll have plenty of time to meet up with us...

Cool2

Got soft bags for it too (tank and rear top) but they needed washin.

Gotta run out to farmersville next week to grab a carb sync tool for it. I am hoping the carbs are just really out of adjustment, before I tear it apart to start jetting it.

Sure does.

Ya Its a lot bigger in the saddle then I imagined. Suspension or not I think I am going to be hard pressed to keep up with Justin on the DR offroad. I under estimated the effect that extra 100lbs was gonna have on the nimbleness of the thing offroad.

Yeep and its orange. Funny as hell my wife said It looks very nice (surprized) you goibg to keep this one nice? Hahah... She should know better by now.

Congratulations Monti. She looks a lot more comfortable for two then the DR! You and the misses will have to take it to the beach.

Haha MONTI, that's why th 950's are called the orange crush!
Don't let that pig land on you.......Just over a year ago a guy was killed at Glamis when his 950 landed on top of him.
Scratch it up fast so we can paint it white.
Stop by the shop on your way to f- ville next week.

Ok soo the bit I didnt say was that it isnt running very well. To be honest I was not at all impressed with power/throttle response. Long story short valves are tight (beyond min spec) and I think carbs out of balance. Cheap but stupid labor intensive fix. Soo it'll be 2-3 weeks till I get her all patched up and trail ready. I am just really glad it was nothing major. I ignored a symptom when buying I should not have (was blinded by all that glittery orange). I got lucky, coulda been worse.

Wife did git a chance to ride on it with me she reports she was very comfy ... Better then the CBR so coast trips shoyld be a go. Plenty of tinkering available since it needs some tlc, and the guy even handed me aftermarket goodies he bought and never mounted so I am happy.

Just want to ride the damn thing hah but working on something new is gonna be fun too.

Lane,
Monti said you were interested in my 950... I'm not sure I'm comfortable with that. It would be too big a leap from what you're use to, you might get hurt.
