Mine was sold new in 03' and plated by KTM of Santa Cruz, the tags have been paid for 10 years now......I don't see an issue with that 450, but would want to see when it was first tagged before I bought it. To be sure you could walk into the DMV with the seller.

JP, your new woods weapon? [/QUOTE]

That WR450 is nice....

Somebody should buy it! Scrambleon, ready for big bore fun?

Justin, my son is selling his 03' lancer OZ rally edition soon, I need to find him a Tacoma first. The lancer has about 150K on it, he wants around 3K for it. What price range do you need to be?

Supermoto kit for the DR sold... Now I gotta decide: 17"x17" for the 950 or 19"x17"

Mid summer I hope... Jetting/exhaust first, hope the knobbies hold out that long.

Monti,

I'd run a 19", my $.02.

It will still handle well in the street, but be much better in the dirt with the 19.I've got a nice 19 front tire you might want, a D607. Jack has a Behr super moto wheel set for that bike.

It wont bolt up will it? From what I hear the 17" front is twitchy ... But solved with a steerig stabilizer, which coincidentally this came with already installed. The 950 has a dual front caliper though... Jack's kit is a single front rotor setup isnt it? If it bolts right up and he wants to sell it I would be all over that!

Oh and as far as offroad goes on the supermoto kit goes I have no intent of doing that at all.

I plan on keeping the dirt wheels for it, and mounting the "terrorflex" rear and maybe a D606 in front for any offroading I would want to do with it. I will be offroad with it likely less then I was the DR, but it'd be good for death valley runs fer sure.

Pre-liminary research in.... There may actually be some hope that his kit would bolt right up. I may have to buy a 950 front hub and re-lace it.. but it just might work. Any chance he would let me borrow it to tinker? Is it cush or non-cush hub on the rear?

The hot setup is tubeless Aprilia Caponord rims (19/17) laced to ktm hubs. Go read this thread. I know a couple of guys who have already done it, and LOVE it!

Good luck,

Catfish ...
