Alreadly have obligations that weekend. My only days to ride between now and the second week of August are:

June 8th
June 15th
July 6th

Might be able to sneak out July 20th for a short ride, but not counting on it really.

Don't go stock... Get something with a rim lock hole drilled in it, put in a rim lock and balance the damn thing so you can run lower pressure safely.

The worst that can happen with you and I trying to true it is that we just cant do it... In that case th wheel is already laced, less work for ryan and maybe he will cut you a deal on the truing part.
LOL, I consistently run between 10-15psi front & rear, no rim locks, never a pinch flat..the real secret......ultra heavy duty tubes...or luck, I haven't figured out which one it is yet

I don't know if this is the right place for info regarding my ride:
Rode the rands mountain area last weekend. R30 trail was a good ride.

Temps and desert were good because of the rain last week and there was few ppl there. .jpg[/IMG]

R30 trail in the background to get to Government peak.

Found A nice desert rental. Room for me and the bike.

And then the huck a buck to a whiskey throttle!

Sunset!

Sierra Club is trying to close entire rands riding area.

Located at the Borax Bill Park is a group trying to prevent the courts from closing the area. What I was told was before the court would rule on closing the area they instituted a paper permit to be issued to all riders so they can track how many ppl come out and ride there. (permits are free. Permit gets signed by the staff there and your permit number is logged. You don't give any personal info) If your in the area please stop by. Here's the address. 20 Mule Team Pkwy
California City

You would have fun with your bike. You probably could camp out of it with those big boxes you got.

I've seen big bikes with luggage up there before, shuteye too. Cattle Mountain would be the easier fight.

If I can figure out some where for the kiddos June 8th and the BMW ride is crashable I am thinking about going 2 up with Caren. I'll have to see offroad agressive a group it is going to be. If offroad mellow it would be perfect for both of us. If offroad agressive... Hah, maybe not.

New barely DOT front for the 530 came in today, just waiting for my forkseals to appear then I will git'er all back together.

After that TLR forks and front tube and maybe, just maybe, all the toys will be ready to hit the trails.

You can always call Tanner for details of the ride. My guess is it's R1200GS friendly. Aggressive never.

As for Shuteye I've been told to lower the gearing another tooth on the countershaft for a particular downhill section that has caused many bruises. Anyone riding a 500+ pound Adventure Bike to the top and back should get a reward.
