Heading out to Yosemite 7/10-19

My wife and I are heading out for two weeks in July. Camping in a A frame toy hauler out of NM. We are hoping to ride from Oak Flatt cc to Yosemite 7/10-13, and from Midpines KOA 7/13-15 and any logging roads and newbee trails in between. I have decided to take the KTM 450 (Plated) so if there is any single track rides/riders I can join while I'm there that would be great. Thanks, Kevin

The same weekend you will be in Yosemite the Stewards of the Sierra are doing a self guided tour, might be the ticket. Here's a link;

950 tuning and tinkering...

950 is coming along at an agonizingly slow (budgeted) pace. New chain and sprockets (16t non-cush/42t ->17t cushed/48t) wow bike is a lot quieter now. That last chain rattled bad... Didnt realize how wore it was till I took it off, definately overdue. Different exhaust setup in place sounds better, power about the same but likely needs some jetting to accomodate less restrictive configuration.

Next up I need to use up what little is left of this D908, which is wearing outstandingly well/lasting, and order up a set of k60 scouts for fall/winter spring season riding. I am gonna give em a shot on fire roads too, if they are half decent they could end up being a year round tire. A dirtbike this will never be.

Not riding a lot other then to and from work... My next saturday I might be able to ride would be the weekend of 7/6. Anyone going be out goofing off on two wheels that weekend?
