Sotsnf ride this weekend

Is anyone riding in this?
I'll be there at the Elks lodge campground in Oakhurst Friday & Saturday nights.
Come on by for a beer or two... Or a ride.
JP, should I bring your parts?

Wish I could do that ride, but my bike is apart right now. Got a new front rim that I need to drop off at MotoOne tomorrow to have laced up I was hoping to come out & pick that stuff up on Sunday but if you are headed this way friday that would be way cool. What time do you think you'll be headed thru fresburg? I can meet you right off hwy 41 whenever. Thanks

Justin, if I get the 450 back and plated by Friday, (possible) you could ride the 525, one or both days.
I'll keep you posted. Either way I'll bring the DR parts.

Perry

Well... Finally found a 950/990 owner willing/confortable enough to ride my 950 and confirm my suspicions... Seriously under powered.

Owner of Wilsons hopped on for a quick seat pant dyno for me and confirmed my fears that it aint running right.

Oh the bottom end jetting is spot on (all that I have really messed with really) but he said on top it falls flat on its face powerwise... Gonna tinker and get it as close as I can myself and then have them take a look. I can't afford to turn it over part and parcel to have them "fix it all" my wallet cant handle that. But at least they can give me a starting point.... Got it all torn down now ... Bummed but at least I have some closure.

Back out in the garage I go :/

I would love to take Perry up on his offer, but I'm going broke prepping for my trip that's less than 2 weeks away and also have too much to do this weekend.

Thank's to everyone who is going. this is a great ride to support the stewards of sierra, without them most of the trails in the area would be closed and unmaintained.if you can't go consider donating or joining the club.

Dave, good question.

And the answer is both. I rode the 450 today for the first time, the 450 seems easier to ride in the tight stuff. Time will tell......
