Cool. Glad you had a good time will catch you out on the tigger one day.

Actually lookin forward to getting the 950 all tore down and check the valves to make sure they arent creeping shut. Got a solid 10 hours of work ahead of me on it.

Yes, if all looks good with the valves.

Yes - getting hard to start again worried the valve stems are wearing excessively.

Valves are golden!

Kickstand relocated and carbs re-jetted with exhaust changes. No work for the rest of the week - re-assembling the bike starting tomorrow, then test ride to see which way to go with carbs. Once carbs set on to mounting tires.

Only unknown is the carbs/exhaust changes. I made one of those "well, its gonna have to work or I am gonna have to fork out a wad of cash" decisions on the exhaust setup. Yall may not wanna ride behind me lest yer ears start bleeding.

I would like to ride over with ya Perry - when you plannin on departing?

Ok great Monti, we are heading out from Jacks house in Three Rivers, I'll call you when we leave, 45-60 minutes away, Friday morning early, by 0600. Josh, are you still going?

Cool pics JP. I have a ton to upload. Ride was killer. Anchorage to Portland on a GS1200. Portland to Long Beach on a F800. 4100 miles total. Time to start planning the next one...
