Needless to say I'm whipped.

Nice pics! The key is, keep your momentum and DON'T drop the drop the bike. I love that trail up Shuteye, one of my favorites in SNF, it ROCKS!

Another key is to have more years of experience and pick the correct line.

Yes the line is important and experience helps, but if you have enough momentum, you'd be surprised what the bike will take you through.....and over.

Experience=TITS..... Time in the saddle.

Day late and a dollar short... 950 running right.

Window shopping for a new offroad armor jacket solution.

My roost guard is over 8 years old and is falling apart, jacket zippers died, hydration pack is dead nearly. Any recommendation for hot weather protection or anyone have some gear that didnt work out for them that ya wanna offload?

Good news on the 950, wanna ride after work this week? Millwood/Hume.
You can have my EVS ballistic jacket, I just replaced it with a new Alpinestar model. The mesh needs a little TLC, but overall nice piece. It saved me from injury many times.

It might fit a little loose in the shoulders on you and a little tight in the belly.

I think the best place for getting in some good dirt riding will be the Whiskey Falls/Bass Lake area, if you've never been it won't disappoint. Lot's of glorious single track The staging area is about 10 miles East of Northfork, which is about 40 miles NE of Fresno.
