lol, it takes at least 30 days after brew day to sample.

Bring the cups ON brew day and we will sample some good already-made stuff.
I have been known to get kinda drunk while brewing and that usually ends up with me making my signature brew for which I've titled "sweat-sock ale".
Its always a good day on broooday

i can make a 5 day ale-brewed-fermented-kegged and ready to drink in 5 daysbut it is a light ale!
more complex beers usually take alittle longer!

but yes, those $100 dollar kits are the best bang for the buck!

basically u need a big brew kettle (5-6 gallons) ! a 6 gallon glass/plastic container and some way to keep it cool !
if u have a turkey fryer setup- then u can use that, but usually the pots are cheap thin alumium. i got my 1st one at the mexican market! then found a converted keg-aka: keggle

learn to homebrew day is coming up NOV 2 http://www.homebrewersassociation.or...o-homebrew-day.

un/fortunatly i will be out riding that weekend! or i would love to have u guys over!

hillclimb challange challenge 2013 coming up soon, and ill bring my home brew!

IPAs are very highly hopped ales and some people do not like the extreme bitterness associated with the high hopping levels. Hop bitterness is described by International Bittering Units (IBUs) and a typical American light lager has about 10 IBU. A pale ale my have over 30 IBUs, while IPAs have over 40 and double and triple IPAs may have over 100 IBUs. So if you don't like excessive hop flavor and bitterness then you will not like IPAs. The $100. kits are fine, but to really get an idea what homebrewers can do and to check out their brews and equipment I suggest you try to get to the next San Joaquin Worthog Homebrew club meeting. They do a demo brew and they bring samples of their brews for all to taste. Check it out here.
