Yes, Lane, you really missed it... Awesome burgers!

There's still plenty of room in Furnace creek if you can make the ride.

Hey guys, as you may have figured out already from a few posts, I volunteer for the Stewards of The Sierra National Forest. I've been called upon to assist in organizing an Adventure Ride fund raising event. They already have a Dual Sport fund raising event not of my doing. I may need some services like printing and design work of maps or spiral bound map books, T-shirts, and flyers. If you do this kind of work let me know. I don't expect free but any support for our goals is appreciated. Thanks PM me with info

Perry, it will be a fund raising event. I will be getting more of an understanding of what the Stewards are thinking and how much I can put my own ideas of an Adventure Ride into this when I have a sit down with them in the coming week. As I mentioned they will also be having a Dual Sport fund raising event again this year as in the past. But that is handled by another couple of persons.

Gonna see you guys in Furnace Creek. If I remember correctly the tent site is #113. I'll meet you guys there if not on the trail. I expect to see you guys on the trail. A friend of mine from Lancaster will also be with me on a 1999 KTM640. We each have our own tent. His name is Cornelis. He's in your big boy league, I'm not and I don't want to hold you guys up. We'll park in Trona and be taking the route JP described from Trona onward. See ya Friday Jan 31.

Hey Joe, yes site #113, can I catch a ride with you to Trona?
I'll be taking it easy if I can ride at all, I still need a release from my doc.

DV Daze 14 campsite number

I don't know what I was looking at when I made my reservation, but I have site 101 not 113...maybe it was showing me the old site map since they just changed everything 2 years ago??... Or I'm just going crazy

So Site #101 it is (just checked my reservations), and as long as you know my last name, hint;(Paccassi), there shouldn't be any issues.

Also, DV is just like the other national parks except there are so many entrances that there are no toll booths. Everyone is expected to pay an ($10 for bikes/$20 for vehicles) entrance fee & they will collect this from you when you enter the campground just FYI
