Upgrading? Or just adding to the fleet of happyness?

Thinking about it. I have to pay my current money pit off. I think I am on a 5 year loan (ya 5 years on a 3k bike). I plan to make extra payments but we are talking next year christmas before I get this thing paid off. Then I will have to convince the wife I need to buy another. O she will be livid. I need to get another job, mine is paying 10k a year under average for my position so I will have to keep my eyes pealed. I really like my job but working for peanuts is not cool. If I can find a better paying position I may get something sooner, who knows.

Steve: Foot is great, ankle is better, and whole leg is getting beefed up. The more I stretch the more I'm able to work out on it. Every time I think of stretching though, I think of that old cat lady in her unitard on clockwork orange.... so I have a hard time coming to grip with the fact that I need to stretch despite the fear of doing a good/bad impression.

That's one nice looking bike. Those look like 8" baja design lights, man they look huge! I like the black rims and paint job too, probably too much done to the engine and stuff for me to be able to appreciate from the picture alone but it looks great. I fall in and out of love with those double headlight setups.

Monti: http://dsriders.googlepages.com/dsridersinthesnow was my first ride in dirt and you can see the washed out "bridge" Steve and Katrina rode over. The awesome rain ride mighta been the first on the xc, I can't recall.

Sidenote: SMS and LMS.....I see another piece of the puzzle. Maybe I'm just some crackpot conspiracy theorist...I'm going to keep working on it.

The next ride

Hey guys. Just thinking about the ride next weekend... About what time do we anticipate getting back to Fresno? I have plans Saturday evening and just want to make sure there isn't a conflict. Also, once we get up there, what will the terrain be like? Do I need to get new tires?

LMS,

Run what you've got, stock tires are fine, that's what I've been using. You shouldn't run into much mud this time of year. As for what time these guys get home... Well, just figure out when you need to cut out and say, "See you guys later" and head home. Steve and Rob usually don't like to waste their kitchen passes, they stay out wayyyy past when the streetlights come on.
If I go, I'll be headed home for early too. It's not a big deal, just post and let us know you made it home.

Steve, get the XR!

Saw Cvquit at Laguna today.

If you have other plans on Saturday maybe you should stay home and wait for that engagement. We never know times or schedules on DSrider days With the exception of breakfast at 7:30 at the secret disclosed location, and about the tires, your fine.

Isellers,

Why less dust? Did you get some rain down there? That would be great.
