If any of you from out of town are interested, or have questions, I work next door, and can easily waste some time asking questions or whatnot.

Dude and I were thinking of getting one but we want the SM forks so passed. Don't know if all four are still there, they had three spread across the showroom floor.

What he said. They all have ~3000 miles on them, and they're rough. Upsides are new mufflers (they had aftermarket pipes), handgaurds, new LED rear lights. All four were there yesterday. I'm thinking they'd make a good starter bike for a kid/wife/buddy, or a spare.

There's snow

While you guys were playing at WARPED I took some friends out for wet ride into the mountains. Snow was falling at Whisky Falls. Hey- no dust.

Above is Jason from Santa Cruz area with his 990.

Above: hiding in our soaking wet gear and becoming pop-cycles.
Barry from Novato, Gary from Brookings, OR, yours truly, and Jason from Santa Cruz.

It was fun. Ride was Friday 25th April.

Talking Warped!!!!!

Epic conditions! Showed up Friday by noon. Day one. Got camp set.

Off to ride.

Rode up Cannell trail.

Top of Cannell

Met Nate and Justin back at camp. Rode up Cannell again, started snowing at top. Decided to alter foot peg and my left toes on way back down. Tech 7's saved the toes not the peg.

Not the red rocket but the orange rocket???

Mike and the 530

Woke up Sat morning to this

And this....

Day two. Kern river trail

Found the trail head finally...

over the rocks comes Martin

Hwy on the left, river at the bottom, and the trail goes over and around, and down, never ending bliss

Almost half way on Kern!?

She made me work on the single track. Steep learning curve, but totally worth every minute.

All this single track. Its in the background

Bird fishing in the river on Sun morning

Short ride on Sun morning. Perry said it was a shorter way....mileage yes, time no.

Mike never looked at the rock climb, just go. He bunny hopped the top crack too. made it look easy.

End of our turn around point for Sun ride.

No one got too badly hurt in the group, no major damage, and some of us even won some free crap and some lube!!! Great ride guys! And thanks for driving Greg!

Wow! What a fun time at warped! Up Cannell twice the first day, 40 miles of single track on Kern River the second, and getting lost the third on some "easy" single track that Perry talked us into up above Wofford Heights. Didn't break myself or the bike and made a bunch of new friends!

Camp, food, beer was all excellent. The darling camp host lady sent us down to Riverkern Market which has a kitchen and guaranteed "grease" and not "yuppy food". Turned out to be excellent as we went there three times! Best biscuits and gravy I've had in a long time!

I'll post some pics later but Kimboy's pics are far superior! I think you are now the designated photographer! Somehow I ended up in about half of your pictures?!?

Good times! Thanks for driving Greg.

Justin has some killer video I am thinking - including a slightly terrifying Nate foot down over open sky tumble and a mountain lion cameo.

Been too long since my last right, outa shape and seriously outa practice. Thanks all for everything.

Warped

I cant wait to contribute to this! Was an awesome trip with the (RENEWED) Central Valley Crew!

I have tons of awesome footage. I actually got the camera angle right this time and its 1080!

I have: mountain lion, nate wrecking off a huge boulder transfer into a small but mighty cactus. Monti nearly blowing a corner and heading down into a canyon somewhere, I wreck at least 5 times on tape and hit a tree stump hard!

I have Greg Flying on a 690!!!!! Matt Flying on a 650!!!!! And Brian doing work on his 400! I am excited to go with this group to Whiskey and Kennedy Meadows asap!
