It's not not bad, just loose. . I rode my old XT225 up it and JPs DR made it as well.

Don't try it until you get some more dirt experience.

Yes I see. JPs DR made it up as well. JP I got tired just watching the video. The video makes it appear less steep than it must be. Are there any lessons learned in that experience. Oh! I can think of one. Bring a buddy or don't try it.

I think if you approach that hill about 3 times faster than I did....and ram your bike through the rocks in the middle,.... then if you come out the other side still pointed in the right direction and get back on the gas, your golden!

That's how i'm going to do it if there is ever a next time

JP

Yep, it's all about keeping the momentum on a climb like that.

Starting around 6:00 I get involved. I forgot how much fun it was pushing the DR up that hill. We make quite the team!

Greg and I put in some mileage, unfortunately most was slab. Went to red mountain. ..still closed. Went up bald mt. Had a crew repairing the look out. Shaver for lunch. Thanks again Greg. Then out to curtright. Then down the 168 hill into the oven with a refreshing hair dryer blast of air. Good last ride for a while. Tires are off already the DR. Anyone want to help load her it a mini van next sun night around 1030pm?

I tried that once on a business trip to take my 530 down south with the supermoto kit mounted and could not pull it off.

Good luck - take pics

Thanks. Think 2 people should work as there not much room inside a mini van with a bike. But you are always welcome to supervise with a beer in hand. Never did come across martin

I didn't go. I was going by the original (sort of meet time) of 9, by time I noticed the new post (sitting my jockeys, with the pack not packed), I figured I was not going to make it up there in 15 minutes.
Next weekend?
