Guess What. !!!!

The people I bought the 690 from contacted the old owner and got the spare key. Then mailed it to me. So I am back in action.

Sunday solo again

Did anyone else get caught out in that downpour near Shaver Lake yesterday?

I was in the worse place I could possibly be when it hit...between Stevenson Creek & Jose Basin on the old railroad grade...shelf road with absolutely no cover. I was soaked to the core Good thing for synthetics, after the rain stopped I dried out pretty fast & was completely dry before I hit Prather

Not Shaver Lake, and not yesterday, but I got soaked to the nuts going over Ebbetts Pass last Wed. All week long there were heavy thunderstorms along the crest up here.

Nice pics, btw.

Went and checked out Miami Creek for the first time on Saturday. Fun stuff. Wasn't quite as rutted as I was led to believe and even found some fun singletrack here and there.

Sounds like that would be a cold soaking Ebbett's pass is awesome, I just rode it for my first time about a month ago. Luckily I was only about 20 minutes away from the searing heat of the valley, and was able to dry out quickly

Anyone want to ride Saturday? My KTM still isn't ready for lots of slab so I am trucking somewhere, probably Shuteye/Wiskey area.

Newbie here, got a BMW650gs, and have been blasting all around the foothills/mountains around Fresno since I got it 2 months ago. Looking to find guys to ride with, mainly road till I get used to the pig in the dirt! I did my first solo camping trip on bike last weekend at Gaggs camp. I also have a KTM450xc for the single track and desert trips.
