I say move it to the Ellerbe Inn; great roads and great food!

www.ellerbesprings.com

There's already a group that meets there Sundays at 10:30.

There's a MX track about a mile away that very entertaining to watch when there's racing too.

Was a wet morning, but a surprising number of people still showed up.

Mike was there breaking in a new rental bike for the dealership. His job has it's perks.

This was a cute 100cc machine.

And I always love Guzis

Always a lot of BMWs

Sportymark was leaving just as I got there. The nice thing about a tricked out Sportster and a Blast is that we didn't have any problems recognizing each other. :) He turned around and followed me in.

I swear she was looking at the Blast right before I snapped this picture. It's a chick magnet you know.

A four speed I'm told.

Ducs are cool, even if they aren't red.

Not everyone shows up on a bike.

Nice crowd this morning. I took my son. His first real ride on the street. He did great.

No pictures today though. Remembered the camera, but forgot the battery.

The Eastern NC ADVrider dinner (uh breakfast) will be there on June, 8th. Those of us with Dual sports will do some dirt riding and meet up with the others in Pittsboro for an early dinner at a brewery joint. Check out the thread.

What is the dual sport bike with the dual exhaust in the backround (orange and blue)? Tank looks like a KTM but it's hard to tell from this angle. I havn't had to chase many on the XR . (I usually can't keep up)

I don't know. I remember looking at it, but the memory fades.

They did. A mexican place is there now. People just remember it as Micheals and still it that. The restarant serves breakfast, as I have been told.

I gotta get out there again. I was there just about every other weekend for several years. Because of my work schedule, I only get one weekend day off, so Michaels was often a stop on a local daytrip loop.

some vintage Michael's shots:

that Indian again my beloved Beakster, the 02 GS in the background

even rode scoots over there a time or two...you know you're comfy with your street cred when you show up on scoots.

gassin' up across the street
