Thanks all

Glade to hear you guys enjoyed the report. As anyone who has done a report will agree, its good to get the feedback/reaction.

I plan to continue the mother of all trips, at least for me, this fall and head south till the road ends.

Inspirational, but $100 a day? I need to do this. And I need to do this on like, $5 a day plus gas. Possible?

I just finished your ride report, H-Jay, and it's up to your usual top standards! What an odyssey! Thanks for taking so many pictures. You've fired the wanderlust in me again. Those moutains and lonely roads...

Oldrice, Stuff's expensive in AK and northern Canada. And thats with camping. You can cut your daily cost if you cut down your long mileage days. Gas in Canada can approach $7 a gallon. I don't know where in North America you can eat and sleep on $5/day over a long period without mootching on someone or spending all your time chasing and cooking game in the wild.

Maybe the GWN guys can give you some advice on cutting your daily cost. You will be my hero if you can get non gas to $5 day.

I had your RR on My Favorites, but didn't read it until yesterday. Awesome report, great pictures and details!

I'm on the planning stages for 2010, when I turn 50!!! It will be a long run for me!

Thanks for sharing
