Some people have more money than sense. Thanks for being the guinea pig of what NOT to do with my money.
Now that's just not warranted mate. Best withdraw your remark I reckon or take it to yo momma.

Very trick indeed! Bravo Larry, nice work! It's cool to see guys stepping out and trying new configurations,....making modifications to make it all work together.

Some don't seem to realize we all benefit from this type cool experimentation. It would be a shame to limit our ideas based on the size of our checkbooks, or in this case, draw (and publicize) their own negative conclusions based on someone else's cost and meticulous work.

That thing rocks!

Looks really great!

Looks like a lot of work went into this, and it shows.

in the meantime, me being the cheapskate that I am, will have to make due with a $5 Jerry can to carry my extra fuel.

Has anyone seen these mounted to a 950? I pulled my suspension off to revalve and soon I seem to be down to the engine and frame and contemplating making some changes like a new exhaust in stainless. Mounting up this tank might be worth going through that trouble but I'd love to see it on a bike before I start this madness...

Beautiful bike for the OP by the way.

Folks, some years ago an inmate started an adaptation of the BMW Dakar Touratech rear Rallye tank (I believe it's Gaup).

DO you know how that project went?

He had started posting pics of that nice work.
