That's funny. I'll probably still be working on this report by the time you get back.

Dude! this is an outstanding thread and I am enjoying it immensely. Wish I had ridden it and even that I had the kind of bike that could ride it. Keep it coming.. I went through the first 10 pages in a non-stop orgy of contentment and am now suffering withdrawls.. hurry hurry before I am gone.

Hey...........what's with the "y'all" pronoun.........hmmmm?

You think your from the south or sump'n???????

I know for a fact no self respecting rednek from the south would be caught dead in a photo nekkid--and for that matter--would not even hesitate in considering the remote possibility of jumping in cold artic water........nope, nadda, aint gonna happen. Any water below 80 degrees down here is considered frigid and the southern bylaws forbid entry.

I thought it was apparent by now that I'm not at all self-respecting.
I picked up "y'all" when I lived in Auburn, AL, and refined it when I lived in Morehead, KY (I even know the proper usage of "all y'all"!)
Now that I've been to Canada, I'm going to start saying "aboot", as in "what's all this aboot, eh?" I like the way it sounds.

I'm a bit behind in getting some of my stuff up through Dawson City to Chicken Ak.

Check out these panorama shots.....

Chicken to Tok

The road becomes paved again leaving Tok, and what a sunny warm morning it was. I rode with Wyatt on his 04 KTM950 at a fast pace through the twisty pavement onward to Tok.

Arriving back at the Alcan just outside of Tok ( I can't remember the name of this Junction)

New pics!

I just got some new pics from Wyatt, and I'll be integrating these as the trip progresses. Here is their view of crossing the border and down into Chicken.

Remember when I said they were late for the border crossing? This is what they saw (notice the time-stamps ):

What I want to know is, who are the cones and that gate going to stop if you're determined to get through, and what are they going to do about it if you do?

But they got through!
