Thanks for a super report. I know how hard it is to tell people what you saw. The description is almost impossible. You just have to see it for yourself. Thanks for your sharing. Bobby95

Yeah, great report. It was great making that journey this year, and fun to watch your pictures and experience it all again. I'm good on Alaska myself for now, but Mexico sounds appealing... By the way, I thought that redheaded wife of GS guy was hot. Of course, we never met in a dark corner of the boat...

Maybe it's cause I know you, and can hear you tell it, but this was one of the best RR's I have read. Sorry to see it done, man. Great job - it was inspirational - as I am starting the pre-planning for next season.

Thanks.

Very nice pics

Thanks for all the great pics especially up the haul road . We never made that part of the trip and seeing the pics almost makes me feel like I had been there.
Nice to meet all you guys on the ferry ride back.

Thanks for all the time you took to let us go along with you. I'm planning for Alaska next year and you supplied me with great information, especially the ferry ride with all your pictures.

You're welcome!
I think I forgot to mention that you do need to get your ferry reservation reasonably far enough in advance. I booked my ticket two weeks prior and I believe (according to the agent) that I got one of the last spots. If I also recall correctly, there is a ferry on the move every two days though.

Ass Maintenence!

I forgot all about exposing the identity of the source of my new favorite phrase "ass mainenence". You have probably guessed by now that it was Rodeo Clown, aka, tufelhunden, aka, Matt, who came up with that. That guy would say the funniest stuff with a complete deadpan face. He was an absolute hoot to hang with. I hope our paths cross again.

Arno & me...

Arno and I rode all the way from the ferry deck to Tony's Coffee in Bellingham. The prevoius 72 hours we spent trying to rid the ferry of alcohol. It's illegal to drink on the back deck, we were just trying to help...
Our paths will cross again my friend.

Outstanding.

It really did get better and better as it went.

And I'm totally sold on the ferry ride thing, it looked like a very serene way to unwind and not have to be in travel mode while still traveling...
I need to put away enough PTO to join you for the next one.
