The front end on that XT looks like it was lifted from a mid or late 90s Ducati in its entirety. SS fender, Brembo wheels and brake, Showa USD forks, and the triples look like Ducati, too.

Can't place the swingarm.

Normally I've some infos on a french magazine
It's a SR500 frame
frame from ? FZ600 shortened ? Original one is steel one, not aloy
Over bored engine (600cc)
Twin spark head
Some of the engine mods have been done by VD Classique

Now i wouldn't normally profile this bloke,but after seeing the pix of the Norvin,look at another "classic" V-twin you can fit in a Featherbed style frame.

I've only seen him on TV a few times. He appears to be a thoroughly nice guy. Knows his way around Knockhill as well. !
Does he know how to ride in the "dry".?

You got that right. Been to Knockhill a few times in my youth (karting) and once in earler adulthood special saloons/Special GT with my brother - Toyota Starlet.

The only other place I have been up in Scotland was Cowdenbeath (racewall) - for national hot rods.

It's a small world.
