Lornce,

My Magni came out of Oklahoma. It was there until I bought it in 2004. The guy that built it was an Oklahoma oil man who happened to be having a very good year. At the time it was built he has ~ $18K into it. The "donor" R100RS was $7295.00, the kit was ~ $7000.00, and the full boat Lufty Turbo kit was $4K! YOWSER!!!

The Magni will once again see the light of day just as soon as the Rickman and the 2 750 Sports, and my 85 K100 are built! THEN I will do the Magni!!

Cheers, Phil

How many Magni Turbos could there be?

Wait a minute. The one I saw had Krauser heads.

Lornce,

Yeah! Can't wait until the Rickman is running! Here is my 74 Sport, the day I brought it home!

Thanks, Phil

It's a dormant project that taunts me every time I go downstairs to work on something else... long story short I got frustrated with the whole vintage Ducati "scene" a while back and discovered electric guitars. Haven't worked on it in over a year now, and it's number 2 on my bike project list. Here's the one I need to finish first:

Seat and tank aren't at the right angle but you get the idea. (It started life as a 1966 Ducati Monza Jr by the way)

I don't think I'd classify that one as a cafe racer but judging by some of the other bikes here, I think I'm safe posting it...

Really? I don't know how many times I wish I would've bought an old British bike to do my round the world trip. Or took the offer in Melbourne where a guy offered to trade his Matchless 500 straight across for my Ducati.

Usually folks into vintage bikes are good people, but I think those into Eyetalian bikes have a higher dose of snob that offends my ever so delicate sensibilities. Still, I hope to be riding my Duc into Italy in a year.

Thanks for the links! I think I read your threads when you first bought the bikes, but didn't know you got a Wilcox tank, very nice! I look forward to the next posts!

I think that the "girls on an old motorcycle" was back a page or two recently. for sure they have not gone out of style. maybe we've just run low on photos for both threads

Or maybe people get tired of sharing photo's cause of all the comments on tire/tank/color/girl/whatever choices on the bike...

Here's one I really like:

For those in the US: This bike will be raffled/auctioned off (they haven't decided yet as far as I know) for a really good cause.
