Buddie of mine had one in high school, thing was all tricked out, gold DG heads DG pipes, and all black paint !! that bike would smoke my SR 500

my bmw cafe racer build

hi ther my name is shaun .i live in the uk .i build bobbers and chops .but allways wanted to build a cafe racer ,so i was looking around for a bike and whent for a bmw .its a r80/7 .it came as a non runner jusy frame wheels and all the running gear so i have made a start this is how it was when i got the bike , i dident want to build the same as all the rest so for this build i was going for a mono shock set up and upside down forks .

Thanks. It's a '74 with typical tweaks: chambers, 30mm carbs, ported, squished, laid down shocks, aloy rims, and what I think is a gpz set of forks and disks. Next: rearsets, new chambers, and electronic ignition.

That Yz is worth the price of admission. The 550 is not registered yet and it's in my warehouse in Lotus...hopefully, by February it'll be legal. In the meantime, I only have the KLR and Valkyrie (polar opposites). I'd love to ride into a future gathering. Please keep me posted. Thanks again!
