It is a custom tank I made that fits between the frame rails in front of the rear wheel, above the swingarm and below the seat cowl. The battery and the rest of the electrical components are under the seat cowl.

Is that the new No-seeum Sargent seat on there?

FlatRacer Flowliner R80/5 Mono

We've been toiling for the past year around a full fairing kit for the R2v Airheads. Not an easy task and quite time consuming but we got there in the end.

We've decided to build a Cafe Racer using components from all the Series, starting by a 1972 engine to 1993 R100R forks (not fitted yet).

We;ve also adopted a R80 Monolever frame as these are often overlooked as a Cafe Racer base.

All the modifications are easily reversible and no alteration were made to the frame. In fact, we went a long way to incorporate the original rear sub-frame in the design, using a 5.75" stainless steel mudguard and L679 tail light assembly. Sporty yet quite practical and surprisingly comfortable and nimble.

Still work in progress but we are all itching to have a go as it should be quite fast as the fairing offer less frontal area than a RS/RT.

Very nice but! Normal folk aren't going to get their arses into that tiny seat.

I beg to differ, Simao sat on the Flowliner and he is around 6,7"!

Just because most people are fat nowadays doesn't really make that "normal"
