The simplicity is actually deceiving! A Chout such as this one is a very hard bike to build. The late model Chief engine does not readily fit into the 101 Scout frame. The bottom top rail has to be moved, either up, in which case you need to use a saddle tank, which ruins the 20s era look, or use a pate and some Prince tanks. This bike has so many nice touches, the front brake, the right side shift, left side throttle, pogo seat, low Bonneville handlebars, and under stated paint job.

Thats a great GB500! I notice the 250-300cc market is heating up, even hear in the States. Maybe, they will start back into the 500cc range. Would really like an updated GB500, since originals have gone out of sight price wise.
