What puzzles me is why he's gone to the time and trouble of the rear disk conversion, but then not bothered to put a put a nice shiney plug into the hole for the brake lever. Especially when there are so many nice touches elsewhere.
There's usually a plastic plug for that hole - having never had a brake lever. It's a hold over from the drum rear set-up. Perhaps there's no shiny plug yet - work in progress.

Ahhh!!! Now THIS could be interesting.....

I've had the very good fortune to have owned both a 900ss Ducati and a LM3 Moto Guzzi. Both were cafe racer modified, tuned etc to breath flames and brimstone.

Then I got married.... but that's another story. What a stuff up.

You know, I could not pick one over the other. The LM3 Moto Guzzi is one of the most underrated and forgotten motorcycles out there. The Duke has more race heritage but both have character and idiosyncracities by the bucket load. Both have dellorto's , both have crap electrics, one has a bizaar chain and pushrod arrangement another desmodromics... The LM3 motor has to be one of the MOST reliable motors put in a motorcycle but HEAVY. The 900ss motor is wonderful but fragile...

Too hard. Wonderful motorcycles.. Does the 900ss deserve the price they now demand? I think not. But ditto for the Guzzi...!!

My RD350

Here is a pic of my RD350. Since the picture, I have painted the forks hammerite gold, replaced the Dunstalls with regular cafe bars (fitting problem with the master cylinder), replaced the rear brake light with a smaller unit, added the missing stock front fender, and removed the turn signals. I'm going to keep this a stock looking bike a little cafe edge.

The lambretta in the backround is mine also.

Thanks for looking!

I had a KZ400 about 15 years ago. I should have done this . Instead of selling it .

Battery is under the seat.
It's a Dekka AGM, smaller than the stock item and can be layed on its side.
