Why is this bike a mirror image?

Because it's a photo shop. It's actually one of a few photo shops. The builder did this to see what colours/paintjob he woul like most (if I remember correctly). The bike is build by a German, he used to have a website online about it, but that site's been offline for quite a while now.

These are a few more pics of the same bike in different stages of the build:

I love the look of the first one. But when I imagine riding it my boys start to ache. That seat is art only.

Very partial to a guzzi myself. Tks for the pics jehu.

I mentioned 'a part' in an earlier post that was postponing my rejoining the human race. here it is.

That's beautiful adrenal. Have you tested it at high speeds when you get tire balooning or around tight turns?

blaine,
I also reckon it's a bit too close for comfort so mk11 is already in the pipeline with a tad more clearance. Tested it for 1st time yesterday up to 140km/h and seemed ok but wasn't pushing it around a corner. I think it would be fine for normal street use but as you've implied, might be dicey if you think you're Troy Corser.

Man I love those Guzzis! Makes me sad though, I had 2 LM-3 basket cases, one with a wicked strong Jim Woods built motor. I sold both when I got married....I know, dumb, seriously dumb...

Oh well, here's one of mine. Its a 1980 Laverda Montjuic. Not really a factory bike, and not a home built either as they were "manufactured" by the English importer. Cool bike, around 375lbs soaking wet, close ratio six speed tranny, and a narrow powerband that makes it all fun to ride. Loud though...really really loud....

These were never officially imported into the US but I know of 6 or 7 that have made their way across the pond.
