Thumb Serbian World Team Tours the World: True Badasses

I think the inmates will appreciate the links below... A group of guys (AND ONE 12-YEAR OLD GIRL!!!!) from Serbia are travelling on CRUISERS around the world in search of adventure, with the secondary mission of promoting the positive image of Serbia abroad. Both sites are in Serbian only, but one does not need to understand the language to admire the pics. Here are the photos of them GS-ing on cruisers through Mongolia:

>> EDIT << I removed the links since they were not opening for everyone; pics are posted below and on the following pages, along with comments in English >> EDIT <<

I am in awe

They are currently in Los Ageles and will travel to San Francisco today and then to Vegas, Grnad Canyon, Aspen CO, Denver Co, to Omaha NE to Chicago IL. From Chicago they are going to Niagara Falls and all the way to NYC and Europe. If you see 3 cruisers with funny plates stop them and talk to them these are really cool people.

OK, apparently the links are not opening for everyone, so I'll post a few pics here:

They are leaving L.A. tomorrow and heading towards San Francisco, then Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Colorado, Nebraska, Chicago, and points east. They are super-nice people - if you see them waaaaave!

Fantastic! Who says that you must have some huge, gnarly, GS to go 'round the world? I look forward to seeing them in DC.

Motoholic, give us some more updates...

Thanks for the post

Somehow, I now feel like a wuss.

What an adventure! Even playing in the mud like they're on a dirt bike just a few miles from home. (Somehow I've always been braver in the dirt when I'm close to home.)

Serbians

We'll keep our eyes open for them. We will be heading towards Durango 16/17/18. I guess they will be in the north though. We met a guy yesterday in Los Angeles, heading south to Bolivia on a brand new 2008 green KLR 650, he rode down from Prudhoe Bay, he is heading San Diego way, then Baja Sunday or Monday, keep an out out for 'Luigi', nice guy. Mention 'Pedro, Colleen and James' to him. Pedro put him up for a few days and got him hooked up with fresh tires. Well 'I' gotta get back to work.............bwaaaahhhhhhhhhhh

Well crap

Well crap. We had a late start, but reached Cortez late friday afternoon and had to hot foot it to Durango. Couldn't stop even for a minute to check in, darn.
Ride tips: If you are taking 40 east out of Barstow, gas up there. Gas was $4.49 at Goffs! On the way home I did it right, gas up at Pilot, exit 9, Arizona ($2.49)....gets you to the next pilot south of Barstow 178 miles($2.69). I think there are only two gas stations between Barstow and the Colorado river, I know one is Goffs!, what a rip. I just got two gallons, then it was 60 miles to exit 9, Arizona and two dollars less. With two bikes to fill that's $20 difference, nothing to sniff at.
