stolen from the front porch

About 7 tonight a bike was stolen from the front porch (1979 honda XL175) of a house about ˝ a block from my house . About 8 I heard about it and started looking, I put on about 45 miles in alleys ditches and trails around town didn’t find anything.
Around 930 the police got a call about a party getting out of hand (on the other side of town) when they arrived one of the officers noticed that this bike had been hotwired and it matched the description of the stolen bike!!
He got his bike back!!!

It is hard to see in the dark but it looks like the only damage is the ignition and the kill switch are trashed

Sweet!

Nice to hear a good outcome for a change. My dad had a '79 175 when I was growing up that I did much riding/learning on between my 75 and 250 days. Black tank with some red on it and the honda wing logo if I recall?

Lucky they caught it. That bike was halfway to Mexico and gone forever.

So glad that he got it back! Kick ass!

When I lived in Chicago, some jerks stole my car, but before I even knew it was gone, the police caught them! I got a call at 5AM telling me they found my car and I was so confused, since I didn't realize it was lost!!!
