I just received my Chinese made Polarbears. Very nice product with a lot more insulation than the igloo it replaces.

Quality looks good with plenty of straps and buckles for moto use. Even has an attached bottle opener.

First of all, thanks to Stonewall for introducing me to the PolarBear coolers.

Second, lots of the coolers are sold out right now. For instance, the only color left in the standard 24-pack design was pink...

I called PolarBear, and spoke with a lady. She said they'd honor the 2-for-1 deal when they get new stock in.

If you're interested, you might want to make a call and document her name, date/time of call, etc. I didn't do so, but I don't really "need" a new cooler, either. If I get the deal when they come back in stock, great- otherwise, I'll just use my old one.

I e-mailed them asking if I could preorder coolers using the 2 for 1 deal and have them ship them when they became available. They told me it would be fine. The guy I was e-mailing was Strud Nash.

The camo ones are nice.... wont show dirt and can stash under a creosote bush for retrieval later.

Interesting. I asked (on the phone) to do the same thing, and my request was denied, but she told me they'd honor the 2-for-1 deal when they get stock in.

I guess it's not what you know, it's "Strud" you know...

It's possable that after the last email was answered, they got to thinking about it and decided there was to much chance to screw it up.

Whats to screw up? lots of us will buy them for the 50% off price, but not for full price. They can either make a sale, or lose a sale. Pretty simply to me.

I ordered the camo colored ones late last week and they showed up today.
I know, they are more expensive, but they are going to hunters as gifts so it seemed appropriate. Plus, for half price, I figured I could spend the extra $5.00.
