I have to say this is the best cooler I have ever owned! I rode with it from Kansas City to New Orleans and back.
95+ heat and in the sun on the back of my bike. I would fill it at a gas stop and it still had ice in it the next morning. I was too cheap to get the small silver one so mine is black. I worried that it wouldn't work well...I was wrong.

Thanks for the write up. I am sure that the Silver / Solar may work better, but I always recommend the Black color. The reason being that the Black blends into the bike and looks like luggage, not a cooler. That way the local kids don't "Yoge Bear" your cooler, a very popular past time in many resort areas.

It would be great if the small was available in solar silver.

I have used polar bear coolers for a few years. I went with them becasue they are leakproof. Nothing worse than having all your stuff wet.

I used to carry a 12 can size in my goldwing side case, but now the cooler straps onto the gs. Two thumbs up for sure.

Coolers

Please do not pay pal me until I have checked on availability of what you want. They seem to be having some inventory problems and I do not want to collect anybody's money until I am sure that I can get you what you want.

Thanks

I suggest holding off on placing orders for these until issues are resolved - I placed and paid for a order 4 weeks ago and aside from 1 email from Stonewall, have been unable to get any form of order update despite repeated emails and PMs to him...of course, YMMV...

Just a heads up for those looking to buy these coolers. The 2 for 1 promotion is now on, code is "2112".

Cheers...

Due to way to many issues with their inventory I have stopped handling this coolers for now. I recommend anyone who wants one use this promo code and clean up while you can. I will have the MOD's remove this thread after Polor Bear ends it's 2 for 1 sell.

Regarding lack of response, my business phone is listed in the first post and no one has called me with any issues. This is something that I started doing to give back to the ADV community. With the discounts that I gave and all of the Coolers that I have donated to different ADV Rallies it has been a money losing affair for me, which is ok, I didn't do it for the money. I own a Commercial Refrigeration and Beverage Service Company and these coolers have always been my biggest headache.

If I feel comfortable next summer with their inventory control I may start selling them again.

Mark

Mark, I know many folks who enjoy and use the cooler you obtained for us.
Was a great thing to do for fellow inmates and I for one thank you for doing it
