Yeah I had posted one in LA recently, hoping someone would buy it. If I saw one in at least the New England area like that I'd buy it immediately.

Mine is for sale in the flea market. It spent most of it's life in upstate NY (Finger Lakes then Plattsbugh). But now it is in Michigan. I could always bring it back to the area if that makes it more appealing.

Mine was using a fair bit, about 1L in 1500km, I found the piston and bore were a bit scored so I did a rebore, new piston, rings, valve stem seals, valve guides... The valves and seats were ok, they just needed a clean up... I also replaced the oil pump because it had digested some metal at some stage...

I've been running Dunlop D606, they are very similar to the MT21 mentioned above... I get about 4500km out of the rears, and about double that from the fronts.... They handle on road and off road well, at around 20-22psi...

Nice photo, haven't had a second to work on mine yet as I moved house.
Should get a couple of hours this week.
I have managed to change the oil and filters aswell as clean the brakes but haven't driven it since.
I got good second hand exhausts to and Vht painted them.
Sounds a bit quieter now.

I have a Sidestand, seat cover, new battery to get, then to sort and the carb has a flat spot so will clean that too.
After that it's on the road and to the hills.
It's all time and money but she will be flying by January!

I'm recovering my seat and wondering if there are any replacements for the foam. Are there any different materials anyone has tried, or any way to get new foam?

Is the whole piece of foam damaged or is it just a section?
You can use an electric knife to cut out the damaged section and stick a new piece in place with contact adhesive.
It can be reshaped with a sandpaper flap disc on a 4.5" grinder (outside) I used good quality commercial grade vinyl to recover one seat, it worked out well, apart from the parts that were sewn.
I would just do it in one piece next time.
Foam should be available from an upholsterer.

The foam is fine, its just a little dirty somehow and slightly brittle. I have a sander and the necessary tools to shape the seat, I was just unsure if there is a better material to be used in place of the standard foam. The seat cover I put on should last another 15 to 20,000 miles, so I'd like to have the best material I can. Before I decided to recover the seat I was just going to buy a Renazco seat, but I really like the stock look.

There is an inmate here Underground that redid his seat and widened it a little to make it more comfortable.

Yep if you look on my build thread you will see what I did and after many thousand hard k's I'm still liking it.Simple but 100% better than OE and so much easier on my old arse.
Build thread is likely to turn into a rebuild thread though....anyone got a good head they want to sell?

They don't offer a seat for a NX but they might offer it as a custom cover plus the foam.

I have a NX seat in the flea market that has had the foam replaced with a much firmer and taller profile. Don't know who made the cushion but apparently someone does make a replacement.
