wellsville bound

Hey, my rear tire is almost shot already. Got any suggestions for a replacement on the airhead?[/quote]

Wellsville...Ok..... works for me

Pilot, Ive got the Avon AM20/21 (or something like that) on my air head, 4000 miles and looks like new. Sticks good, slides predictably when it doesnt, and wears like iron. They make em in sizes to fit our old "classics" too, which is the determining factor in tires more often.

Slap a couple of 606's on the old gal, jack er up and make a GS out of her. Stay cool on your trip!!

Probably out.
Typical snafu on the new chain. Nobody stocks a 525 in the right size, so ordered from the shop with the best price. Came in yesterday, but contrary to our original discussion, they could not install it for several days. So, took it to Shop #2, who said they could do it this morning. They cut the old one apart, only to find the new one was ordered too short by Shop #1. So, the bike sits in the shop until a 2nd new chain can be acquired.

So, what's the body count for this thing? I need to know if this is worth riding all the way to Wellsville. Yeah, I know I only live in Gardner, but what's your point?

Won't be making it.

A/C gave up the ghost today, and my sister and her kids are coming into town. The technician needs me to be here when he's here.

Eat some bbq and splash back a cold one for me.

Ride safe.

Yeah.......what happened to all of you "adventurers"?????????

Even KCDakar didn't show, and it was in her backyard.
We had some great BBQ; it's going on my list as a place to return. Nice meeting some new riders. Hope next time we have a better turn out for the new guys.

You really don't want to know what I have in store for me this morning. Let's just say I didn't eat anything yesterday, and nothing to eat or drink after midnight last night.

I already know more than I want. B.T.D.T...couple of times. Good luck.

Hope the Dr. has a smooth hand and a smoother tube

I didnt get out of work last night till after 8pm, missed the good Q, damit.

Guess somebody will have to schedule some pig eating for next week.

On a different note, Im ready to stick the Doohickey in my 08, (I'll let the others see if the "new" doo works) anybody got the tools for this, or do I have to build my own. I was too cheap to buy the kit with the tools. I would rent them from someone, or buy a few beers as a bribe.

Sorry I was not able to make it.
I spent the last two days flat on my back after I threw it out. And the satellite internet has been out and was not able to get on either.
2wheelman knew I was out of commission but I see he was not able to make it either, oh well.

Butt I don't have it as bad as Pilot today!

Good luck!

So, where we going next week? It's my last week before school starts again, so I'm in for sure. So let's do somewhere up north, or downtown Kansas City. There was mention of Smokehouse, and I'm always down for batter-dipped, deep-fried, ranch-smothered cauliflower.
