What a turn out last night! I was surprised to find a place to park my bike because of the crowds.
I enjoyed meeting all the folks that showed up. I learned a lot last night as well. For example, Is trading a Boston Whaler for a dirt bike with a kick start a good trade? The answer is NO because the Whaler has an electric start. Bits of wisdom like that are rare and those who missed last night missed a lot.

That BBQ thing was bad luck for me. Drive belt failed yesterday just as I rolled into the parking lot at work.

![]() I don't mind a belt failure. They are easy to swap out and not very expensive. You never have to lube them or change sprockets and they don't stretch. If I didn't have a belt, I'd want shaft drive. Then I'd get to worry about that failing, but I still wouldn't have to fack with a damn chain.

Gravel roads + belt drive = failure
Ask Larry... Just sayin. P.S. I own a belt drive bike AND live on a gravel road....
