Questions on the Ohlins instruction sheet
Just had a look at the mounting instructions for my new Ohlins and have the following questions on the mounting sheet.
1. Does the preload have any significance to me? Do I have to take it into account when setting up the bike or is this the factory setting?
2. What is the significance of the number of rebound clicks at the top of the sheet? Is that what the shock is set to or is that the total number of clicks available??
3. Where do I find some spring rate data on the springs???
4. Could a hydraulic adjuster be fitted to the front shock??

There is a decent writeup in the Hall of Wisdom called GSOIA. In it there are guidelines and setup instructions on how to setup Ohlins. The 1st section goes into installation.
Look for 'wisdom' at the bottom of the page.
