I would love to tell you some of the stuff we put in NASA hardware. The best was the pine tree "aka Christmas tree" an astronaut smuggled onto a piece of my hardware that is on the very top of the exterior of the Space Station.

Looks like.......

Looks like you totally missed the meaning of the message stating "no user servicable parts" that is on the outside of the unit.

Just funnin with you. I wonder if they are still like that beings as they are now produced in Taiwan?

Ride Safe,
Vettster

Years ago, I was starting up a steel mill in the Netherlands and needed a piece of timing logic to turn various lights on/off.

This was all old ladder logic if you've ever messed with programmable controllers. I called it the "Budlight".

It's back up and working, just had a loose battery terminal that needed re-soldering.

Got pictures of that? It seams to be a very common Garmin problem.

That was the only picture I took, just because it was funny. It did it after a few miles in the dash of my brothers KTM 640. In hind sight, would probably have been a good idea to take the batteries out and just run on the power adapter. I think the weight of the batteries rattling around had something to do with it.
