The best photos of the rack for the pelican cases are on the thread in my signature block. If you need dimensions or any other info PM me and I'll forward them to you.

Wow,

I was just running thru the ride reports and hit this, talk about a blast from the past. Thanks Jeffrey, I had a great time. Where about in the big mitt? I grew up just shy of the tip of the index finger.

take care,

Todd

Wow...

Good on you..time for another epic trip? I just finished the report and it was a fantastic read...wonderful pixs and just the adventure I was craving. Just one thing IMHO....He who needs the gas ALWAYS buys the beer. That is the rule. It is written in stone somewhere. I am on the lookout for a TW of my own. See what you have started?

Though this is an older RR its great to see it up on the first page again.

If you haven't read it is well written and worth a read.

[QUOTE=Driver5150;14823569]Good on you..time for another epic trip? QUOTE]

I've got an 11,000 mile trip that'll take me from Utah to Hudson Bay, over to the Atlantic Ocean, west to the Pacific Ocean, and back to Utah again, all mapped and ready to go. This one'll take place on the Tiger. The only trouble is time and money, hoping for the summer of 2012. The near future appears to hold some short week long trips in the western US.

As a side note the TW is now being used by a local rancher and is still going strong! I will own another one someday.

thanks for the comments,

Todd

All other things being equal, the appeal to me of doing a trip like that on a reliable small displacement ride is more than doing it on a big bike.

But then, I've never tried a long trip on a reliable small displacement ride either...

Great thread. I'm adding a second bike & picking my brand new TW up on Friday, when the temps are above freezing. I've been wanting one for long time. I know I will get a lot of smiles out of it. :)

New to all this two wheeled stuff. I'm used to four wheels or two legs. This is an amazing trip. Thank you for the effort needed for the trip report.
