Extra Gas for TW200

PHP Code:
Where did you get the 3 gallon tank from?? That would be great upgrade and I'd be interested in getting one.
I think you were all ready on the right track, mule. I found this tank in a friends garage who found it at a swap meet, so don't know jack about it.

But i wanted a bigger tank so i made it fit. It was an aftermarket plastic tank, and a little longer than a stock tank. So when it came to putting the seat back on i had to pull the upholstery back and cut some front off and then heat and bend the seat front up and then pull the upholstery back over.

Since then i think lots of dual sport tanks would prolly fit with some work. I'm sure you are up to it. Damn good story, and i'm sure you saw that country like few others have.

yep, small bke are for travelers who want to see the land they are riding thru.

Shortly afterward, I heard the voice of God. He said, and I quote, "Dumbass."

Rman,

Good to here from you, I keep waiting for a report of your adventures here or at the TW site. I've got the track log from my trip if you want to dust off the TW before snow hits.

thanks,

Todd

Nice write-up! Glad you had a good trip.

Hey, I think that was advrider Andrew Annonymous on the Strom on his way up here. He's decided to stay thru the winter!

Thanks for sharing. Take care, Mark H.

It was Andrew, the world really is pretty small. Here's a shot of Andrew's Strom and my TW together in camp north of Dease Lake.
