Me, my dad, and my cousin. Cuz and my bikes are behind us.

You'll notice only two bikes. My dad rides, but his promises of us going somewhere together keep falling short.

My dad only owned one bike in his life. However, he did allow me to ride, and bought me a CR 60 when I was seven. I haven't been without a bike of some sort since. I'm now 29, and have a son and daughter of my own. Words can not express the gratitude I have for my father. He is the person I have always looked up to, and modeled myself after. He's also a great grandfather. Here are a couple of pictures of my dad with each of my kids.

My Dad and I pretend Uraling....

Right after this photo was shot, we got kicked out of the show for trying to jump the Gear-Up over the VJMC booth...... I need to take a pic of my Dad and I riding our bikes, a 1971 Honda CB500 Four (mine) and a 1977 CB550F Super Sport (my Dad's)

Cool pic Spicy...

The kid (my nephew) in the pic above yours is running around the roads of Juneau on a green KLR. Here's a pic of his older brother.

Pop rode a Honda SL350 that I spent a lot of happy hours on the back of when I was in elementary school. He now has the '82 Honda V45 Magna in the pic (I sold it to him about 11 years ago) and a '97 ('98?) Ninja 650 that he bought from another of my brothers back in '99 or '00. The '05 Ninja 636 showing its tail in the pic is Adam's. I baby-sat it some of the time he was gone. Update: While I was typing this up, Adam called me from Georgia. He's safely back in the country, and he'll be home for good in a few days.

Great thread idea.

All the best,
Chris
Glad to hear Adam is home safe. Thanks him for his service, and that goes for all the men and women here and abroad.

We are lucky

Danno and I have been having great days riding together!
May they never end!
I wish I had some pictures with my Dad, I never rode along side him, only behind him. He's the guy that got me excited about motorcycles and it's lasted my entire life!
To all you Dads and Sons. These are those days!! Enjoy them fully.
