I'm sure John is at work or passed out under a large pile of beer cans.

If he's in, I'm in.

That makes three John. Hopefully, Maple will be open. I'd get a hernia throwing Tom's GS over the fence.....That is if I did that kind of thing

I'm just kidding everyone, so please don't start with the chastising.

Sorry, had to move the beer cans. I switched Saturday's with my buddy, so I'm in. Angeles AND Saddleback full moon ride, long cold night but very doable. Rob, since this is a 2 mountain, start another thread!

Seemed to know all about the gates whenever i called him

Jon,thanks for the info on the open gate!!
much appreciated!
Email to above address came back "no such user". Phone extension didn't have Josh there. Guy who picked up the phone and said trails would be open didn't instill too much confidence.

Anyone ride up there today?

thx.

Marty

That's the number I use, minus the extension. In my experience the guys answering the phone seldom are familiar with the trails, their uses, or their status. On the occasion that I cited above, I persisted, and when it became apparent that he didn't really know the answer he tranfered me to someone very knowledgable and helpful. If they sound like they are in doubt, just let them know that you are traveling from a ways out, basing your schedule around the trail status, and that incorrect info would be extremely inconvinient. They should confirm the status elsewhere if they are in doubt or tranfer you.

Let's ride

Hey ladies, I am up for a ride tomorrow. How about we meet at the market in Silverado? That hangover should be over by say ....9AM? I took my new ride up there and it loves the dirt.
