Think I'm going to ride MS to HK for a soft drink... on Sunday. I'll be at the gate at around 8 am... unless otherwise noted.

Anyone know if the gates are open after the rain we got yesterday? Plan to ride Maple Springs to Ortega tomorrow. Thank you.

that page is usually way behind on the actual gate status, i got it first hand today....OPEN!!
trails are in really good cond, the wetness made it extra grippy this morning and i saw 5 deer by 10 am........SWEET...enjoy!

MS is still open as of 4pm today. With no other NYE plans, I think I might just head up to the towers to check out the full moon tonight.

It was a great ride tonight. The road up from MS to the top is smoother than the 405! Some parts are wet, some are dry, and some are getting quite washboarded from all of the traffic.

I'll get the pics up later today.
