Keith, I stand corrected. Terminal velocity for a 1980's Honda weighing 375 lb and 16 hp is around 175mph.

I though I wanted to install it myself, but on second thought, nope. I will pull the shock out of the bike myself. Who do you recommed for the shock rebuild and gold valve install? I'm in Huntington Beach and would be happy to drive a bit for a job well done. Thanks in advance...

i have a dr 650 with the race tech kits in both ends. i had trail tricks set it up for a 240 pound desert racer and its awesome...for what it is.

enzo in costa mesa set up my 450 and nailed it also.

Wow, one day and 4 good leads on suspension work. Thanks so much! I rebuilt the front end myself with the race tech emulators and new springs. It is a huge upgrade. Can't wait to have the rear end done as well...

The ones who appear to take it all in stride are the ones who end up guinning you down later. And then everyone says, "....he was such a nice guy, I never saw that coming..."

ruh ro

oooops

I never thought of Jeff as one to be going postal
but I guess you just never know until its WAY too late

truth be told though Jeff was the first ADVer I ever met up and rode with
(at the Ride for Kids ride in Big Bear)
and he's just as fast on his fat heavy dual rear shocked dinosuar bikes
if not just slightly faster than me on my newer-ish ill handleing small bike
so we had a great time

Hi Jeff

he's probably carving my name in a bullet right now

Keith I remember that ride..it was pretty fun...I remember justin was riding between us he went down around a corner two guys behind him stopped and I did not...ran right into the back of another dood.. At least i was smart enough to aim straight for his rear tire, hit it and went flying past him it was a site.

maybe it's due to the drum brakes or do you have to Fred Flintstone your bike [foot down brakes]
