wfo, let me know if the gate is open, it will save me the 10 mile ride to check. Went up Cadillac last night with Nelly, was beautiful. Old Camp was freaky with the wind making the oak trees creak. Always a joy to ride my local stuff. Didn't see another person...kinda amazing with all you millions of freaks out there.

I might ride tonite, waiting on word whether I'm designated driver so people can get their drink on. The few who I ride with here can send a tell if they get a wild hair. Was nice and not too cold last night either, I look forward to the same tonight.

BTW - Go to youtube and watch the meteor exploding over Russia. Doors/windows blown off, hundreds hurt from blast/explosion.

Maple gate was closed as of 6pm yesterday.

I'll admit, I am not cool. I do not know the way to the top if the gate is closed. (If you'd like to pm me, I would really like to be cool...) I turned around, went on trabuco creek rd, then up to the trail head at horse thief. Then came down and did a little fishing in trabuco creek on the way home.

He was out and stuck by the side of the road with a flat tire when I went by. Total a$$hat. Also there was a huge single car wreck at the junction of santiago canyon road and silverado canyon road. Cager went to turn right onto silverado canyon at what looked to be tons of speed, went through the ditch on the near side of the road, jumped most of silverado road and crashed through the sign post and fence on the other side. Paramedics were working on the driver as I passed.
