For any lurkers here that are noobs:
Yup. The groups are mellow and tend to wait at junctions.

As far as the terrain, a noob on 80/20 tires (mostly street) on a big bike (950+) might have their hands full on some of the rocky, silty downhills on main divide. All of the connectors; Maple Springs, Indian Truck trail, first 5 miles of Main Divide from hwy 74 are fairly tame and doable on a big bike with 80/20 tires. Once you're past that on Main Divide it's more suitable for more dirt oriented tires and thumpers unless you're an expert rider on a big bike with street tires or are OK paddling. You'll mostly see 400-500cc thumpers on at least 50/50 tires when you get close to the peak where Main Divide has some steeper, looser and rockier sections.
ALL of CNF is noob friendly, yes all of it.

Yep, other then the trails we don't speak of, absolutely none of it requires any skill whatsoever, other than smoking and drinking skills.

There is this one section that you have to go through just before the gate at Maples Springs.

I forgot to mention, CNF can be noob unfriendly if you don't stay on the road, just ask Thumpthis.

Unless you go off the trail and have no supplies other than a lighter, pipe, some meth and a dead cell phone, then you could easily get lost for about 3 days.

HAHA!! Well deserved facial there.

Back is still messed up. I got drunk, forgot the back hurt, kicked her over and the bike fired up and idled as if nothing happened on 2nd kick. Headlight is still dangly, and I am not sure of the forks yet. I can ride with minimally tweaked forks for a good minute.

Taking a few weeks off from dirt and rebuilding the carbs on my Magna and other various little projects to pass some time. Road the Blackbird for over 100 miles today with little back problems. Already itching for dirt though, my back wont be able to handle it yet, pinched nerve. Need to install a new headlight and flasher, maybe some rewiring needed.

I am good with mechanical shit, but suck with electrical. If anyone is willing to work for beer(good beer),is well versed with xr650r electrical, and has a good recommendation for a compatable BRIGHT headlight... HIT me UP. I probably need a higher output stator or LED to boot.

BTW.... Love the Drama lately on the forum, you can tell who is who, and it is fun to read!!!! In my opinion, you are entitled to yours.... Having said that, don't hate on smokers or partakers of anything unless it effects you some how. A lot of people function better high or slightly buzzed, me for instance, a couple shots of Jameson and I will bring my A game. I Don't smoke anymore, but a purple peace pipe filled with water at the peak is pretty awesome and hilarious, but nothing to scoff at. Some of these guys saved my ass, and I eternally owe them a round of drinks.

Jungle, did Klim really just update the pants? No wonder I got mine so cheap a couple months ago. They held up well during my cliff dive! Great gear.

Norco's are making me ramble, goodnight bitches, time to get some punane
