Had 2 beers. Seen 3 bikes coming up the canyon below the peak. Guessing I was you guys. Left shortly after the youngsters in a fire explorer. Wind picked up. It was creepy up there solo. Was Colder in Santiago than at the top.

I might be riding up tomorrow night late depending on how the fork seal install goes. Its been so sketchy riding to work with little to no fork oil in one leg haha. Been over a month since I've been up so got to do the weekend thing either tomorrow or Saturday night.

Yes it's a crappy iphone pic. Yes it is Sir Grinch. I knew he would end up breaking rocks one day. I do believe his first slaying was a beer can or whatever is on the blade.

Was up there by myself today on the xr600r. saw a bigger looking guy riding with a friend on a Honda having a blast. He stopped to ask if I needed help.
Saw another couple guys as I was leaving entering off Bedford.

East of CNF

Mitch and I rode up to RM which is east of CNF and just south of SBNF.

MB300 (Mitch) is new to ADV.... Welcome to ADV Mitch!!

I think this is some of the best local riding around and I am always finding more ST the more I explore.

Here's a few pic's...

well now, that looks pretty nice.

I have been fooling around at Wildomar because it's close (and Main Divide sucks) so I am interested in knowing more about this trail for this the days I can't get out to the good stuff.

If you want to keep it on the down low, please just PM me with details.
Thanks in advance...

There are some really fun trails in the area east of Hemet.
No gates... Always open and no real secret.

These trails are forest maintained legal OHV trails even for a green or red sticker bike. But you do need a spark arrestor.

Two of these trails are Hixon 2E43 and Alesandro 2E44 which are linked by forest roads to make for a fun loop.

Here's a little video for any of you that think you are up for it???

Maybe after we get a little rain... I may post up a ride.

http://youtu.be/Vrn5xY-l23A

And to think some guys drive 5 hours away to ride trails like this???

Is there better access from the OC side than silvarado cyn.
Coming from HB so don't really want to slab it all the way down to Ortega.
