You know you want one or you would not be at the dealership.

well yea, if I spent all my money on toys id only be cool to you guys!
in all honesty, I need to get a toy hauler first. and the crazy part is the bike is prob gonna cost more than a toy hauler.
I was on the phone with my brother last night, he said he wants a ktm500 and that we should just swallow our pride and get them. "you used to have one" he said.
standing on that thing, it did fit a big white boy like me like a glove, wouldn't even need higher bars, standing up in attack mode, it felt fine

Well I'm glad to see you are finally coming around. It's hard to argue with reality. I'd get a new 500 myself but my business comes first. Besides, my ten year old KTM still kicks ass!

I thought you longshoremen made the big bucks? 10K for a dirt bike, no big deal...

Depends on what you consider big bucks. Supporting a family of 4, mortgage, truck payment. Do you want an itemized list?
Buddy of mine at work just picked up a brand new 2012 wr450. 6500 bucks out the door. That's a bargain and a half.

I went up skyline today, but the gate was closed as it always is. Maple was closed at 4 corners and I saw no vehicles coming up Maple, so I assume it's closed down below. Bedford was open in Corona.

I saw 2 single riders and 2 twosomes and 2 4x4's. I don't know if the other gates were open because I turned around at Modjeska and backtracked. Nice day out.

Thumb

Sitting at work on my computer in full riding gear. Sorry Dowdy.

I actually have a doctor's appointment @ 10:30 so I probably have either a 'right on' or a lecture coming my way.

Shit, I forgot the rope. Big bike trails it is.
