No boobies on the mountain but we did have to pull a bike back onto the road.

I'm thinking we might we might need to stash a block and tackle on the the mountain somewhere or just carry one.

Grinch should have better pics but this is Ddowdy securing the line so the bike don't fall back on us. The bike slid down the hill about 25 to 30 feet in some very loose gravel.

Cool2 CNF rescue rangers

It all started as a nice ride to the peak for sunset/moonrise.

Things don't always go as planed.

Teamwork.

Back on flat ground.

and the mighty 540.

The rescue was a success because of teamwork. The WRS (wide road shit) can be the most dangerous part of CNF.
"Stay on the single track" I always say, but don't make your own.
This night ride shows the importance of riding with someone.

Nice pics and report. The picture seems to suggest we were dragging it across flat ground. Good times!

With that trials tire, you should have aired down to about 8psi and just rode it up.

im guess in the trials tire is the cause of sliding off the road. knobby tires just plain work!

Knobbys do work, trials tires just work better. Operator error causes sliding off the road.

Trials tires with too much air don't work for shit... they just last a long time. Guess it's fine for street bikes... and guys that like to throw bikes off fire roads on a regular basis.

I mean common... talking about hiding retrieval gear out there somewhere... you guys clearly are more into the retrieval photos than riding

Guys who's bikes never leave the garage don't need to worry about tires or retrieval gear...

Quit talking out your new ass with old material. You'll infect it.
