white men don't jump

I have big apologies to put out. Last night was fun, but I know I ruined the ride for others.
So many obstacles blind siding me at every turn.
Rekluse, battery, headlight, poor physical stamina on a kickstarter lever...
Fat Nelly saved the night by loaning me his helmet light after I lost all juice-

5 minutes later, I returned the favor by providing a spectacular man/bike base jump off the edge when the helmet light fell off.
Was about as close to flying as you can get without a wingsuit.
I wish I could do it again without landing 40 feet down the cliff.

I think I may hate rekluse clutches for trail use too.
(looking for excuses here)

Rekluse clutches are garbage. And by saying that, i hope i pissed several rekluse nerds off.

so what exactly was the root of the problem last night? Machine failure or Man failure?

Man failure.
I should have had my lighting/charging issues sorted by now. Its been almost a week.
Also gotta advertise for someone to trade their oem clutch system for my Rekluse zstart/rear handbrake setup.
I don't want to relearn how to ride a motorcycle after 40 years perfecting my craft.

For my helmet light, i use industrial velcro to keep it mounted. anything else just pops right off. i got a box of the velcro from home depot for 10 bucks, i think.

Wow, you couldnt have said that any better bruv.

Bravo.

yea if my bike isnt 100% functional, i wont yake it out for a ride. I hate wasting money and time by suffering out in the hills trying to fix my shit or just keep it alive to get back to the truck. Also nobody wants to be the guy that holds everyone back haha. be sure to toss that shit auto clutch out too.

Next ride will be better.

night crew

Krazy, you will always be welcome with us and I am sure I can speak for our group of night time badasses. You saw it first hand, that mtn will reach out and spank you down faster than a blink of an eye. But it's the forest that sucks so we will let people keep telling us that.

was totally my fault, I made you keep going when you knew it was better to turn back. Didn't realize what a POS contraption they call a Rekluse. What a freaking joke! Whoever designed that was a fat lazy person who can't ride. Really a freaking hand brake instead of a clutch?
when you have real bike skills you should never need anything like that. Get rid of it and come back soon.

Wipe your tears, good friend.

It (and shit) happens.

Let your wounds heal and get your bike sorted. Then travel a little north and lets do some trails and hill climbs.

The Wolf screwed with this post 08-07-2014 at 12:05 PM Reason: i only ride in the daylight, cant see at night
