I bought this same pump, via ebay, just like the one linked in the first post.

I've used it a lot over the past year. It has saved me at least twice with completely flat tires. I've used it a dozen times to re-up my pressure after riding off road. I carry this kit on my bike at all times, and I also have a plug kit that I've used (never used the gummy-thready-pluggy stuff as included with the pump, although I understand it may be the better option). So far, so good!

Other alternatives likely work just as well, including the Wal-Mart solution. But for $50 (inc shipping), you can have a complete setup delivered to your door w/out shopping for parts and tinkering with modifications. My cost/benefit analysis (albeit very brief) led me to click "buy it now."

Hey guys, in that ebay kit how do you attach the positive and negative battery clamp to the power wire? From the picture it looks like you have to solder it.
