The first day into Graskop was uneventful, although riding into the mountains we encountered a lot of rain and fog which made the riding quite difficult.

Next day, up and at em with some great riding and more beautiful scenery.

Thumb Fortunate

You are lucky to have made the trip, Grace.

We are very fortunate for what we have in these United States.

Thanks for sharing the pics and story!

You should head out to the Black River rally.

Leaving Graskop and heading to a private reserve just outside the Kruger park.

More beautiful scenery, hampered a bit in the morning by crappy weather.

Things start to get interesting now. As we pass through the gate to the Hongonyi Private reserve near Hoedspruit and close to the Kruger Park, we find the terrain starts gettting interesting (at least for me, since I suck at off road riding )

After arriving at Hongonyi it was a quick change out of riding gear it was off for a game drive that revealed even bigger critters.

Lots of drinking ensued for the remainder of the evening at Hongonyi Lodge. The following day, the bikes were going to be parked and we were going to go into South Africa's premier park, Kruger National Park.
